Tips for Making the Best Low Carb Cheeseburger Bites:

-Choose ground beef with a higher fat content such as 80/20. The extra fat will help the burgers to stay together and give them extra moisture. YUM!

-Choose high quality, in-season tomatoes and lettuce if possible. Homegrown and in season produce will give you the best overall flavor.

-Remember that hamburger patties shrink while cooking, so you will want to make them a little larger than you want the final cheeseburger bites to be.

-For uniform patties, try using a biscuit cutter that is slightly larger than you want your final product to be.

Can these Low Carb Cheeseburger Bites be made ahead of time?

Yes! To make party preparation easier, cook patties the day before and store them in the refrigerator. When party time comes, just warm them in a skillet, oven or microwave and assemble per instructions. You could also form the patties (uncooked) and freeze them until you are ready to use. Thaw and cook as normal when you are ready to serve them.
