Spring has sprung and summer is almost here, which means it’s time to fire up those grills and try this super delicious Grilled BBQ Bacon Wrapped Chicken. I love using the grill in the summertime because you don’t have to heat up your kitchen or make a big mess to clean up. Is anyone else with me? How to Make Grilled BBQ Bacon Wrapped Chicken:
Mix dry seasonings and sprinkle over chicken.
Wrap chicken pieces in bacon.
Set up the grill with two zones: direct and indirect cooking.
Heat grill to approximately 500 degrees.
Oil grates prior to putting the chicken on the grill.
Place chicken directly over heat and cook for two minutes on each side.
Move chicken to indirect heat and continue to cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 155 degrees.
Begin basting with barbecue sauce, allowing sauce to caramelize on each side.
Continue basting as desired until chicken reaches 165 degrees internally, about 5 minutes.
Remove chicken from grill and allow to rest for 10 minutes.

Grilled BBQ Bacon Wrapped Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 to 1 ½ pound skinless chicken tenders or boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into strips
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika regular will also work
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 12 ounce package bacon
- 1 cup barbecue sauce any variety
