Instant Pot Chicken and Noodles

This recipe for Instant Pot Chicken and Noodles is a great one to have on hand for a busy weeknight meal. It comes together quick and only uses the Instant Pot making for quick clean up. It’s also kid-friendly because what child doesn’t like chicken and noodles?

Ingredients for Instant Pot Chicken and Noodles

  • chicken breasts
  • chicken broth
  • cream of chicken soup
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper
  • wide egg noodles
  • frozen peas and carrots
  • butter

How to Make Instant Pot Chicken and Noodles

Cut the chicken breasts into 2-3 large pieces and season with salt and pepper.

Place the chicken in the Instant Pot.

Add chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley. Stir to combine.

Close the lid, set the valve to “sealing,” and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.

Once the cooking time is up, allow for a natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then do a quick release.

Remove the chicken, shred it with two forks, and return it to the pot.

Turn the Instant Pot to sauté mode and add the egg noodles and butter.

Stir and cook until the noodles are tender, about 5-7 minutes. Add frozen peas and carrots in the last few minutes of cooking.

Stir everything together and adjust the seasoning if needed.

  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

  • 8 oz wide egg noodles
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots optional
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions
