Simple Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup
I love making soup in my slow cooker because it gives me an easy way to stretch simple ingredients into something nourishing and budget-friendly. It’s a practical way to work in plenty of vegetables, and I appreciate how everything simmers together into a flavorful broth without much hands-on time.
Chicken noodle soup has always been one of my favorites, and the slow cooker makes it especially simple to bring together.
By the time it’s ready, the chicken is tender, the vegetables are soft, and the broth is rich and comforting. I like to serve it with a loaf of homemade bread, which turns it into a filling, satisfying meal that doesn’t require much else. It’s the kind of dinner that feels steady and dependable, especially on busy days.
This is a recipe I come back to often, making it a couple of times each month throughout the fall and winter. It’s easy to keep the ingredients on hand, and it’s just as good for feeding the family for dinner as it is for reheating the next day. Enjoy!
