Copycat KFC Coleslaw
Kentucky Fried Chicken has some of the best coleslaw around in my opinion and this recipe is a really close copycat if you’re craving those same flavors at home. It goes great with fried chicken, burgers, hotdogs, BBQ, grilled chicken or just about any other picnic food. It can be put together in less than five minutes and put in the fridge for later.
This coleslaw is creamy with just the right balance of tang and sweetness, and the crisp texture makes it especially similar to the classic KFC version that so many people love. It’s one of those simple sides that seems to get better after a little time in the fridge, making it perfect for preparing ahead for gatherings or busy evenings. Whether you’re feeding your family or bringing a dish to share, this recipe is an easy, dependable favorite.

I’m not a cole slaw person simply because I don’t do mayo or miracle whip, but this one looks so pretty and colorful; I know it’s good.
I made this last night to go with fish and quinoa/kale. I had some crushed pineapple sitting in the frig and added that as well; plus a dash more vinegar for a bit more tang. Very yummy–will make again! Thank you for sharing this recipe:)
How much pineapple?
I have been using this recipe exclusively for years. My family absolutely loves it. There is no other that compares!
Looks great. Having some medical issues, I always rinse my bags of produce.
