Red, White and Blue Dump Cake

I’m always on the look out for fun new patriotic desserts. I don’t know why I love to make them so much, they just make me happy. I guess it’s because they go hand in hand with summer and BBQ season which is one of my favorite times of the year.

This recipe for Red, White and Blue Dump cake uses only five easy ingredients and it’s literally a dump it all in a pan and throw it in the oven kind of recipe. Pair it with whipped cream or ice cream and you’ve got yourself an amazing summertime dessert. Enjoy the recipe and happy summer y’all!

How to Make Red, White and Blue Dump Cake:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease a 9×13 cake pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Spoon the strawberry and blueberry pie filling into the cake pan, creating stripes with the filling.

Top the pie filling with yellow cake mix, spreading the cake mix in an even layer.

Spoon the melted butter evenly over the cake mix. Do not mix in.

Sprinkle the coconut flakes over the top of the cake.

Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, until the top of the cake is golden brown.

Serve warm or allow to cool completely before serving.
