Cheeseburger French Fry Casserole

This casserole is filled with the deliciously satisfying flavors of a cheeseburger and fries, but in casserole form. You start with a layer of tender, seasoned ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese and crisp french fries, then bake until golden brown and crisp in the oven. Ingredients for Cheeseburger French Fry Casserole

  • ground beef
  • onion
  • garlic
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • yellow mustard
  • ketchup
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • cheddar cheese
  • mozzarella cheese
  • French fries (shoestring or crinkle-cut work well)
  • Optional toppings: pickles, chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce

How to Make Cheeseburger French Fry Casserole:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until beef is browned and onions are soft, about 7–8 minutes. Drain excess grease.

Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, mustard, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce.

Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

Spread cooked beef mixture evenly into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

Sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the beef mixture.

Arrange frozen French fries in a single layer on top of the cheese.

Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until fries are golden and crispy.

Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
