Amish Blueberry Muffins
Amish Blueberry Muffins
As I’ve said before, I love Amish recipes because they usually include simple ingredients and taste great. I’ve been wanting to find an easy blueberry muffin recipe for a while and I was excited to find this one in an old Amish cookbook that I got at a secondhand store.
Muffin recipes can be finicky, but this one was easy. This recipe is more like a drop biscuit with blueberries added because the batter is really thick and not as sweet as most muffins. They’re fluffy and will go perfectly with your morning cup of joe. I hope you will give them a try.
How to Make Amish Blueberry Muffins:
Cream shortening and sugar.
Stir in egg, flour, baking powder, salt and milk until well combined.
Fold in blueberries.
Spoon batter into greased muffin tin and bake at 400 for 20 minutes.
