It seems that pumpkin is a very polarizing topic, either you love it or you could do without it.

If you’re reading this, however I’m going to assume that you fall into the pumpkin spice everything category like me, sooo let’s get excited to make us some Homemade Pumpkin Spice Lattes, shall we?

I know a lot of people wait with high anticipation for their favorite coffee shop to offer this flavor, but why not make them at home to save money, calories and gas??

This recipe is really easy and makes a great treat on a chilly weekday morning or cold winter’s evening. Let’s get onto the recipe friends!

How to Make a Pumpkin Spice Latte:

In a small saucepan, whisk together the milk, pumpkin puree, sugar, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon.

Heat over medium low heat until the mixture begins to steam. Avoid bringing the mixture to a boil.

When the milk is hot, whisk the mixture quickly until bubbles begin to form or froth using a milk frother.

Pour ½ cup coffee into each mug. Top the coffee with the milk mixture.

Optional: Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon. Enjoy!
