How to Make No Knead Cheddar Bread:

Made your bread, it was sooo delish! Second time, I added fresh chopped garlic.. YUM! Third time, my daughter asked about mixing cooked bacon “crumblies”(as she calls them)into your recipe. OMG… Gurllll… ya gotta try it!!!
Thanks for the tip!
Missy what temperature should the water be?
105-115F
Does the water still have to be warm to activate the yeast
Looks yummy!! Wil make shortly. Question- how can you leave it out for 12 hours with the cheese in it? I am concerned that it will spoil.
The cheese will not go bad overnight. If you are concerned after baking you can store the leftovers in the fridge.
Does the water still have to be warm to activate the yeast
What kind of flour do you use? Looks delicious and I can’t wait to try it!
Anyone tried this recipe with gluten free flour?
My yeast tells me to activate it I need to mix it with warm liquid and sugar, do I have to do that for this recipe or do I just add the yeast as is?
I would follow the instructions on your yeast.
If you only have instant yeast, do you still have to wait the 10-12 hrs?
What kind of flour is to be used ? All purpose flour? Bread flour ?
Easy to make resulting in rave reviews from my family. First time making bread in my Dutch oven!
This bread is AMAZING and so easy!! What is the best way to store it? Can you freeze an extra loaf or will it change the texture with the cheese in it?
I have not tried freezing it, but I imagine it would be alright. I guess the only way to know for sure is to test it out!
This is my favorite bread recipe. Easy and delicious. I use bread flour and different cheeses, always good!
I’m wondering if I can let the dough rise 20 hours (timing for a dinner party)?
