Try these Crispy Garlic Roasted Chickepeas for a quick and healhty snack on gracefullittlehoneybee.com

If you’re on the hunt for an easy, healthy and delicious snack then look no further than these Crispy Garlic Roasted Chickpeas. They may seem strange if you’ve never had them before, but I PROMISE you’ll enjoy them. They’re so easy to make and the flavoring options are pretty much endless.

Once roasted, the chickpeas (also called garbanzo beans) get nice and crispy on the outside and stay chewy in the middle. They make a great snack because they’re healthy and packed full of protein keeping you fuller for longer. I keep mine in the fridge, but they would probably keep fine in the pantry for a few days.

I like having something crunchy/crispy when I have a sandwich and these make the perfect side dish that are MUCH healthier than any chips you can buy. Give them a try and I know you’ll like them.

How to Make Crispy Garlic Roasted Chickpeas:

Preheat oven to 400. Lay chickpeas on kitchen towel and pat dry.

Pour dried chickpeas into small baking dish.

Drizzle chickpeas with olive oil and sprinkle on seasonings.

Stir to make sure they are evenly coated.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Stir and bake for another 15 minutes.

Let cool and enjoy!

I've never thought of turning chickpeas into a snack before, but these sound so good! I want to try to remember to get a can of chickpeas next week so that I can give the recipe a try.

This sounds very tasty! While reading through the recipe, I don’t see when to add the seasoning. Do you add the seasonings before, or after you bake?

You add the seasonings before baking. It says in the instructions.

They will stay good for a week. You can store them in the fridge in a sealed container.

They are like popcorn. How do you keep them from popping out of the pan and landing in the bottom of the oven. ☺️. Made a mess
