Creamy Spinach Tortellini

I love sharing easy dinner ideas that you can get on the table in a hurry. This recipe can be made in the time that it takes to cook your pasta. Not only does it come together fast, but it tastes awesome. Just ask my husband who had three helpings. I’m sure your family will love this Creamy Spinach Tortellini Recipe as much as mine did. How to Make Creamy Spinach Tortellini:

Cook tortellini according to package instructions.

In large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

Slowly add flour, stirring constantly.

Slowly add milk, stirring constantly until even consistency.

Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.

Turn heat to low stirring in spinach, tomatoes and bacon bits.

When spinach is wilted, drain tortellini and mix with sauce mixture.

  • 1 - 19 oz bag tortellini fresh or frozen
  • 1/3 cup butter

  • 2.5 oz bacon bits
  • 1 - 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
  • salt and pepper to taste
