Why an Old-Fashioned Fall?

I think a lot of people are craving a slower pace in this modern world of ours. Rushing from place to place and constantly being on our phones in between gives us little to no time for true rest and relaxation.

As summer begins to fade into fall, I challenge you to clear your schedule, turn off the screens and take time to focus on what really matters: making memories with those that you love and appreciating the beauty that is all around you.

Fall is the perfect time to do this because the weather is mild, but the sun is still shining and there is beauty wherever you look. Kids of all ages will enjoy spending time with family roasting marshmallows, making apple butter or going on a hay ride.

All of the activities on this list can be done at or close to home, making them perfect for slowing down and making old-fashioned memories for celebrating the season. I hope you enjoy this list and don’t forget to download your free printable fall bucket list!
