  • butter
  • sugar
  • eggs
  • vanilla extract

How to Make Old-Fashioned Chocolate Chip Pound Cake

Preheat oven to 325 F and grease a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.

In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs, one at a time, beating between each addition.

Next, beat in the vanilla extract.

Add half of the flour mixture to the bowl and beat until mixed, then add half of the milk and beat until mixed.

Repeat with the remaining flour and milk.

Fold in the mini chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
