Slow Cooker Cheesy Bacon Ranch Potatoes
As a busy mom of three, I rely on my Slow Cooker A LOT. It’s just easier to get dinner together in the morning or early afternoon, rather than during the busy (and whiny) late evening hours.
I love it when I can get dinner taken care of before lunch time. It makes me feel so accomplished.
These Cheesy Bacon Ranch Potatoes are a great recipe to have on hand for when you want a quick and easy comfort side dish or frugal main dish. Plus, they cook in only five hours, so you don’t have to rush around to get them into the slow cooker on time.
This recipe uses pantry staples such as red potatoes, cheese and ranch dressing so you can still put dinner together, even when you have nothing else in the house to cook.
How to make Cheesy Bacon Ranch Potatoes:
Grease bowl of slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
Place potatoes in the bowl of the slow cooker and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
In a small bowl, combine the ranch dressing and sour cream.
Whisk the ingredients together and pour over the top of the potatoes.
Add the shredded cheese and toss to coat.
Cook the potatoes on low for 4-5 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
Top with chopped bacon before serving.
