Homemade Brown Sugar

I absolutely love learning how to make my own ingredients from scratch at home. Most of the time, it will save you money, but not always. Either way, it’s good to know how to make your own when you run out or you can’t find any in the stores. (I’m looking at you 2020.)

Making your own brown sugar is as simple as mixing molasses and white sugar together. Boom. You just make brown sugar. Crazy, right?

Of course with anything homemade, the flavors will be stronger than with store-bought, so there may be a slight taste difference in your final product.

I'm sorry, but I don't know of any substitute for molasses.
