10 Encouraging Bible Verses for Labor and Delivery

As I come to the final weeks of this pregnancy I’m attempting to prepare myself physically, mentally and spiritually for labor. One of the things that I feel will help me is using scripture as a means of comfort and strength.

I have no idea when or how things will play out, but I do know that God is in control and I have to trust in His promises.

I put together this set of verses to review and meditate on as the time for labor draws near. I thought I would share them here just in case anyone else is looking for some encouragement in this area as well.

You can read the verses below and then download these free printable scripture memory cards for you to use during pregnancy, labor and delivery.

Please pray for my daughter and her unborn baby. Today she will go to the hospital to be induced because of high bile acid in the mother's blood. May God bless them both with good health. Amen.

Thank you for these! I plan to use now and during labor as a source of strength! Also, just wanted to point out a typo on the printable version- first verse is written as being Psalm 55:22 rather than Isaiah 26:3.
