In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Add the sliced ribeye, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil if needed and sauté the sliced onions and green peppers until they're tender and caramelized.
While the vegetables are cooking, slice the slider buns in half lengthwise and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
Brush the inside of the bottom buns with melted butter. Reserve the remainder of the melted butter.
Spread the cooked steak evenly over the bottom halves of the slider buns.
Next, top with the sautéed onions and green peppers.
Place a slice of provolone cheese over each slider and cover with the top halves of the buns.
Brush the tops with the remaining butter.
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through to the middle.
Remove from the oven, uncover, and serve hot.
Optional: If you want a crispier bun, then remove the foil and cook an additional 5-10 minutes.
