Skillet Smothered Chicken Thighs for a comforting easy dinner idea that will fill bellies and make everyone come back for  seconds.

INGREDIENTS

Chicken Thighs | Garlic Powder Onion Powder | Dried Oregano Dried Thyme | Black Pepper Salt | Flour | Vegetable Oil Butter | Onion | Chicken Broth Heavy Cream | Parsley

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine seasonings with flour, setting one cup aside. Roll the chicken thighs in the flour, add to hot oil and brown on both sides.  Then set aside.

Melt butter and cook onions until softened. Add the reserved seasoned flour and stir until coated. Cook over medium heat until it begins to bubble.

Add broth and water and whisk to make gravy.  Remove from heat and stir in the heavy cream. Return the chicken to the skillet, place it in the oven and bake for 1 hour.
