Yeast Donuts

If you like store bought donuts, then you’ll love these Bread Machine Yeast Donuts that are light, fluffy and full of the sweet flavors that you love.

INGREDIENTS

Milk | Egg | Butter Sugar | Salt | Flour Yeast | Vegetable Oil Butter | Powdered Sugar Evaporated Milk

INSTRUCTIONS

Place all of the ingredients into the bread machine in the order listed. Set to the dough cycle or follow the manufacturer’s instructions for making dough.

 Once complete, punch the dough down and turn out onto a lightly floured surface. Roll the dough to ½ inch thickness.

Using two round cookie cutters, cut the dough and place at least 1 inch apart. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes to 1 hour or until doubled.

Carefully lift the doughnuts using a wire spatula and place in hot oil 3-4 at a time. Do not crowd the oil. Cook until golden brown. Place on a wire cooling rack or onto paper towels.

Drizzle or frost as desired!
