Instructions
Add oil to
Instant Pot
and turn on the sauté function.
Add diced onions, garlic, carrot and celery to pot. Sauté vegetables for 2-3 minutes or until onions are soft.
Add chicken broth, cumin, tumeric, lentils and salt/pepper to pot.
Turn off sauté function. Secure the lid on your Instant Pot.
Select the manual function and cook on high pressure for 20 minutes.
While stew is cooking in Instant Pot, sauté sausage slices in pan on the stove until they start to brown. Remove from heat and set aside.
Let pressure natural release for 10 minutes then release additional pressure. Remove lid from Instant Pot.
Add sausage to stew. Stir and enjoy!
