Chocolate Boxed Cake Mix for 12 cupcakes
2 to 3
cups
Light Green Frosting
optional for filling 12 Cadbury Creme Mini Eggs, unwrapped
Cupcake Liners
Brown Sprinkles
Cadbury Mini Eggs or other egg shaped candy of choice
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F
Line a 12 cup
muffin pan
with cupcake liners. Spray liners with non-stick cooking spray.
Follow cake mix instructions for mixing the batter.
Pour ¼ cup of batter into each cupcake liner.
Place an unwrapped Cadbury Creme Mini Egg into the center of each cupcake liner with the largest side of the candy down.
Top with another ¼ to 1/3 cup batter.
Bake according to the cake mix instructions, typically around 18 minutes.
Remove from oven and allow cupcakes to cool completely before decorating.
Using a
piping tip
, top each cupcake with light green frosting in a circular pattern.
Turn the cupcake upside down and dip frosting into brown sprinkles
Place three Cadbury Mini Eggs on top of each cupcake. Enjoy!
