If you love store-bought English muffins, then you’re really going to be excited to learn how quick and easy they are to make at home for a fraction of the price!
Milk | Sugar | Flour Active Dry Yeast | Butter Cornmeal | Salt
Heat the milk, then stir in water and sugar. Make sure the liquid is not too warm, then stir in the yeast and allow to rest until it foams.
Combine the milk mixture with flour, salt, and melted butter until a soft dough forms, then cover, and allow it to double in size.
Roll out the dough, then use a round cookie cutter to cut out the muffins. Dust with cornmeal and let rest for 30 minutes.
Heat a skillet and cook the muffins for 5 to 7 minutes, then flip over and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes.
ENJOY!
