I love Thanksgiving with the bird, the stuffing and the gravy, but sometimes you need a simpler solution if you’re feeding fewer people than normal, which is probably the case this year as a lot of people are modifying their normal holiday plans due to the pandemic.

It’s also great because this recipe uses the slow cooker instead of the oven, which frees up a ton of space for side dishes, pies and rolls.

How to Make Slow Cooker Boneless Turkey Breast:

Spray the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.

Pour water into the bottom of the slow cooker.

In separate bowl, mix dry seasonings together.

Rub turkey breast with oil.

Rub turkey breast on all sides with dry seasonings.

Place turkey breast in the slow cooker and cover.

Cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees on an instant read thermometer.

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup water

Instructions

  • Spray the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Pour water into the bottom of the slow cooker.

  • Rub turkey breast on all sides with dry seasonings.

  1. This is the very best way to roast a turkey breast! Also in the oven 225 surrounded by onions and a cup of chicken broth…add spices to your liking also…and gently tent with Tin foil for 5 hours.
