I started my tomato and pepper plants yesterday. I started them a little bit earlier this year since I’m due right around the time I started them last year.
My husband wants to build me a better set up, but for now I’m using baking sheets, egg cartons, and grow lights. 🙂 It works pretty well. Here are the onions I started a month ago:
I decided to use biodegradable pots this year so I wouldn’t have to worry about transplanting them once they sprout. I don’t have a heat mat so I’m hoping they germinate without it since it’s a little bit chilly in our house. I put a layer of plastic wrap across the tomatoes so maybe that will help. I can’t believe I’ll be planting my cool weather veggies outdoors in a few weeks!!
