As a Christian, I feel it is my responsibility to be a good steward of the resources that God has given me. I do my best to make the most with what I have and live a simple life that is close to nature. Since getting married I have taught myself many skills to help this endeavor such as gardening, canning, crocheting, etc. To learn more about my family and how we make the most with what we have, head over to Little House Living where I share advice for others and my favorite simple living items. Here is an excerpt of the interview:

What Are Your Dreams and Goals for Your Homesteading Journey?

My husband grew up on a large cattle farm so he feels a little uneasy living in the city. 🙂 We would one day like to find a slightly larger home out-of-town with at least 5 acres, but preferably more. For now, we plan on expanding our garden and chicken flock in the coming year. I would also love to have more fruit and nut trees when we are settled in our next home. In fact, I would love to one day have a u-pick farm or at least be big enough to have a produce stand. And I’m sure we will be getting more livestock once we have a place to put them.

Isn't it amazing what you can do on a small piece of land?!?! I do know how you feel about wanting to be on a larger piece of land and having more garden space and possibly even more than just chickens. But it sure is fun to dream about it and make plans for the future!
