Frugal Weekly Meal Plan (5/25-5/29)

See our frugal weekly meal plan for a family of four.

I definitely won’t be doing much cooking this coming week since my kitchen is boxed up and we are set to move in a few days. I’m sure our dinners will consist of some not so healthy or frugal things such as Hot Pockets and frozen burritos.

Since our new house isn’t done yet, this move has been a tad stressful. (Did I say a tad?? What I really meant was a TON.) Anyway, with all that there is to do in the next few weeks I just can’t keep up with making homemade meals on top of everything else, but I still wanted to leave you with a sample menu plan for the week just in case your kitchen isn’t packed away on a moving truck.

Monday

Easy Baked Pasta

Your family will love this easy freezer-friendly baked pasta.

Tuesday

Wednesday

Friday

You are smart to realize your limitations. I applaud you for being okay with just skipping cooking right now. I know how stressful trying to fix up a house can be, I can't imagine adding moving to that yet too! Hope you can hang in there and that things will slow down soon. And I'm going to check out a couple of the recipes you suggested. I'm always looking for meal inspiration!

Thanks Lydia. Things are super stressful right now. We actually decided to move in with my sister's family until the new house is done because it's just not ready yet.
