  1. This recipe sounds amazing, but I will definitely boil my potatoes just a little bit before adding to pan. It took closer to an hour and 20 to bake in the oven. After 40 minutes, potatoes were still not soft. Otherwise, tasted great!

  2. I agree with the comment by another poster to boil the potatoes a bit, and also that it took much longer than the advertised 30 mins.

  3. Definitely bowl potatoes! Good healthy meal, but potatoes were still hard, so we had to eat the chicken and broccoli only, because we were starving.. lol
    1. I cut my potatoes into 1/4" pieces, used fresh broccoli and also included sliced baby carrots. I didn't have fresh bacon so I used bacon topping (for salad) and the whole thing cooked to perfection.

  4. Just cooked this for the first time tonight and it was a huge hit! Soo good! Will definitely be adding this to our frequent list of meals.

  5. This was really good! I only used one potato and fresh broccoli! My bacon was still a bit raw, I should have made sure to flip the pieces. Great dish, lots of flavor!

  6. I believe someone asked this already but I am still a little confused. Is each serving 772 calories? Or are all 4 servings (the whole pan) added together to get 772 calories?
  7. With the comments about boiling potatoes, I wonder if anyone has used frozen hash browns instead of potatoes? Not the shredded ones, but the diced type.
  8. Four russet potatoes is way too much for this recipe, I think. It takes up an entire baking sheet! There’s no room for chicken or broccoli! I am in the process of making this recipe right now, and I have to stagger the cooking times. I have potatoes on top for 15 minutes and the chicken and broccoli on the bottom for 15 minutes. Then I’m going to switch them. I’m not quite sure why I’m screwing this up? The potato is definitely way too much. I guess for next time, if I make it again, I’ll remember this.

  10. I made this tonight and it was a big hit with my family. I cut the potatoes up small, probably 1/4 inch, and only used 2 med potatoes, worked out great. I also cooked the bacon first, I didn't want it limp. I used the bacon grease and tossed the potatoes in it, along with some additional olive oil and some grated parmesan cheese. I layered the potatoes on the bottom, then the broccoli and then the chicken. cooked it at the given temp and time. added cheese after 20 minutes, cooked another 10. then broiled for 2 minutes. My daughter loved it. Thanks for the great recipe!

  11. Had to throw it away. After cooking far far longer than what was called for, it was still raw and unsafe to eat on the bottom and burnt to a crisp on top. It was just drenched in liquid. I added WAY more seasoning than what was called for and it was still painfully bland. This is not seem like a compleat concept at all and it was a shame to waste so much product.
