Beef, Bean and Cheese Baked Tacos

Who doesn’t love a good family-friendly taco recipe? I really like baking my tacos because you can put them all together, stick them in the oven and be available to work on other things white they bake.

Kids love tacos too, so why not try these Beef, Bean and Cheese Baked Tacos on your next Taco Tuesday night? The combination of ground beef, refried beans and queso dip is delicious.

You can easily swap the beef for pork or chicken and use black beans instead of refried if that is your preference, but either way these oven-baked tacos are sure to be a new favorite for you and your family. Happy cooking friends!

How to Make Oven-Baked Tacos:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cook ground beef and diced onions in skillet over medium heat.

After the meat and onions are cooked through, add the taco seasoning, tomatoes with chilies, and water.

Reduce heat to low and simmer until sauce begins to thicken, around 5 minutes. (This step is important unless you like soggy taco shells!)

Place refried beans in a small skillet and heat over medium low heat until warmed.

Place taco shells in a baking dish so the shells are standing upright.

Fill the taco shells with ground beef, queso dip, refried beans, and shredded cheese.
