Camping is a great way to slow down, disconnect and spend quality time together. My husband and I both remember camping as kids and we want to carry on that tradition with our own family.

Camping is fun, but it also takes a lot of planning, especially for meals. The more planning and prep work you do beforehand the smoother your trip will be and the more you can sit back and relax.

That’s why I’ve complied this list of campfire-friendly recipes that you can use to plan for your next camping trip. These recipes are so creative and look delicious, plus they are family-friendly. Happy Camping friends!

  1. Another great camping idea (if you have electricity at your site) is to make taco meat in the slowcooker. We used to do that at least once while we camped (if not twice!), and nothing is easier than tacos. You just toss the flour tortilla onto the fire to toast it. So easy and yummy!
  2. These all look great! Camping is one of our favorite fall activities! I can't wait to give these a try! I love all the "packet" dinners; it's what we always did as Girl Scouts!
