We normally eat Chili once a week during the Fall and Winter months and today was the perfect day for it since the high was only in the 30s. I love it because it’s easy, filling and budget friendly. Plus, it freezes well so you can make up a double batch and freeze the leftovers. It seems like everyone has a different take on the American classic, but I like to keep things simple. Enjoy!
Slow Cooker Chili
1 lb ground beef
3 cans chili beans
1 can diced tomatoes
16 oz tomato sauce (I use canned puree from my garden)
1 onion, diced
1 packet chili seasoning
Step 1: Brown ground beef.

Step 2: Add all ingredients to slow cooker.
Step 3: Cook on low 8-10 hours.
Step 4: Garnish and serve. We love to add cheese and corn chips.
